It’s midnight. Yesterday was a big day on the Earth. There was an eclipse and I witnessed one of those rare moments when people become united to experience the joy that it is to witness the miracles of Nature.
But, it’s a bittersweet feeling, considering all that we’re doing that is actively destroying it.
Today, I wish to celebrate the presents of the Earth. Let us all remember. Perhaps, the best part of being alive is so that we get to marvel at the fact that the moon sometimes aligns with the sun and that their short but intense union is enough to bring us, fool beings, together.
Despite not being in space, I am still floored because if the gift of the Eclipse was not enough, the Universe continued its show up in the sky.
And in the tender hours of the night, as I crane my neck up, looking at the sky, all my eyes see are stars.
Some are falling and, hopefully, on their trail, they burn the wishes we, small stupid creatures, send up to the sky.
Sending you love on a comet ☆ ⭑.ᐟ ☆
